What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?
Don’t be afraid of failure. We learn the most from the mistakes we make.
What volunteers or passions do you do outside of work?
Outside of my role as an E-Texting Manager, I am a Co-Captain of the MSU Stock Seat Western Equestrian Team and Vice President of the MSU Pre-Veterinary Medical Association. Outside of MSU, I am a Director on the Michigan Quarter Horse Board of Directors, and serve as a Youth Advisor.
What is your favorite movie and why?
My favorite movie is Secretariat. I have loved it since I was little. I am a horse enthusiast, so being introduced to the story of Secretariat’s Triple Crown run was something that I truly enjoyed. To this day, watching that movie still makes me smile.
Name a hidden talent, or an unknown fact?
An unknown fact about myself is that I was the 2022 Michigan Quarter Horse Queen and competed at the All-American Quarter Horse Congress in the Congress Queen Contest.
What is your favorite subject in school?
My favorite subject is anything science related. Out of all of my courses at MSU, my favorite ones have been my Animal Science courses.
