Since joining the RCPD team as an Office Aide in September 2022, Kristin’s proven leadership skills and passion for helping those with disabilities reach their fullest potential, has grown into a new opportunity as the RCPD Leadership Development and Accessible Media Coordinator.
In her new role, Kristin will coordinate Tower Guard and Resource Center for Persons with Disabilities efforts to produce leadership opportunities and quality service learning for Tower Guard members, while enhancing accessibility for students with disabilities.
A former MSU student—receiving her bachelor’s degree in special education—and a former Tower Guard member herself, Kristin is also a Michigan native who is happy to be back at her alma matter continuing the work of maximizing ability and opportunities of students with disabilities. When asked what she is passionate about, she shares, “Helping others reach their fullest potential and gain confidence in the world.”
With her background and understanding of Tower Guard, she is committed to expanding the partnership between RCPD and Tower Guard and become a leader who continues to make a difference in the lives of people with disabilities.
