The MSU Resource Center for Persons with Disabilities welcomes Jennifer Wright to our team as a special projects consultant in July 2022. Prior to joining Team RCPD, Jennifer spent almost 25 years in disability services and resources, working in many higher education settings such as Lansing Community College, Davenport University, Lake Michigan College, and most recently at Saint Mary's College of Notre Dame. She was awarded both her bachelor's and master's degrees from our very own Michigan State University in Special Education and Recreational Therapy. Jennifer is bringing her dedication and enthusiasm to working with students with disabilities directly to her alma mater!
When asked what inspires her, Jennifer said she is, “inspired by the transformative process that takes place in students as they pursue and achieve their educational goals. To support students starting with a connection at the beginning of their college career, to then seeing the students through their graduation and beyond, is incredibly rewarding.”
Outside of the Office Jennifer enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, going to concerts, and reading. She is also a huge fan of the Dave Matthews Band and has seen them in concert more than forty times. Welcome to RCPD Jennifer! We are excited to have you!
