In September 2021, Rebecca (Becca) Wetzel returned to RCPD as the Office Operations Coordinator and the Alternative Testing Coordinator. Becca first joined RCPD as a reception assistant while she was completing her undergraduate degree from 2011 to 2016. Prior to her current role with RCPD, Becca joined MSU as full-time staff in 2017 working for departments like MSU Global Center for Food Systems and the MSU Great Lakes Bioenergy Research Center. She enjoyed being able to give back to the University and serve the community in different ways.
In her current role as the Office Operations Coordinator and the Alternative Testing Coordinator, Becca oversees a team of student reception assistants and ensures that every visitor to the RCPD receives a warm welcome. From her former time as a reception assistant with RCPD to now in her new role, Becca has seen the office evolve and grow. She remarks, “Clearly that was a great experience for me, as I was excited to join the RCPD family once again!”
In her free time, Becca likes to spend time with her husband in their country home, complete with backyard chickens and four cats. Welcome back, Becca, to RCPD!
