RCPD Welcomes Hannah Huey-Jones to the Team
The MSU Resource Center for Persons with Disabilities welcomed Hannah Huey-Jones, in the Fall of 2022, to our team as an ability access specialist serving people with chronic health disabilities. Hannah received her Bachelor of Arts in Theatre from Millikin University and her Masters of Education—in Elementary and Special Education—from DePaul University. Before working with the RCPD, Hannah spent some time in the acting and improvising world in Chicago. She also was an elementary special education teacher where she advocated for inclusion among disabled students to be a part of the general education setting.
When asked what she is most passionate about she said, “I am passionate about breaking down barriers that prevent people with disabilities from accessing their world and achieving their goals. My career goal is to center and amplify the voices of disabled people in all conversations about disability.”
We are excited to welcome you to Team RCPD, Hannah!
